Oxford Construction Company is one of the leading Highway Contractors in Southwest Georgia. Oxford is a Georgia DOT approved Contractor and performs numerous maintenance and reconstruction projects throughout southwest Georgia for the Department of Transportation every year. With our modern equipment fleet and our experienced work force, we have the capability of performing all phases of Highway Construction in house.
Oxford Construction Company’s Asphalt and Aggregate Division has four GA DOT approved Hot Plant Mix Asphalt plants located in Albany, Bainbridge, Blakely, and Lumpkin, Georgia. These four facilities produce up to 500,000 tons of Hot Plant Mix Asphalt each year. These four plants produce asphalt for our two paving crews and also FOB outside asphalt and aggregate sales to the public. Oxford Construction also recycles concrete and asphalt with our Portable Crushing Plant.
Oxford Construction Company’s Private and Commercial Division works with Developers and Owners to deliver a project that is both on time and within budget. Oxford’s Engineering Team can take an Owner’s conceptual plan and help develop a realistic and accurate budget. Oxford Construction Company’s 28,000 square foot Maintenance Facility is equipped with the most up to date maintenance equipment available, giving us an edge over our competition. Our Maintenance Division services and maintains over 300 pieces of Heavy Equipment and our Trucking Fleet. Oxford Construction Company also has field service trucks and mechanic’s trucks that keep equipment up and running on the project at all times.
